If you are one of the many members that utilizes shared branching we are pleased to inform you of recent changes that positively impact your experience with IDCheck.
IDCheck is a secure and streamlined verification process that saves time when they visit a Shared Branch credit union. A smart phone is required to utilize this service.
The authentication process adds a layer of protection to help prevent fraud, so the credit union they visit knows the member is who they say they are.
Visiting members will need to bring a non-expired government-issued ID, such as a driver’s license or passport, to conduct the transaction. They will also need to provide their account number and last four digits of their Social Security number. This data is encrypted in the secure application.
IDCheck does not support military IDs due to a federal regulation that does not allow federal IDs to be copied/photographed. IDCheck cannot be used for minors under the age of 18. Traditional verification should be used in these cases.
