As your financial institution, we are committed to providing you with competitive products and services to meet your financial needs. In order for us to conduct the business of the credit union, we may share information about you to process certain transactions on your behalf and to provide you with other financial opportunities. In order to do so, we have entered into joint agreements with other companies that either provide services to us or additional financial products for you to consider.

Firefighters Credit Union is committed to protecting the privacy of its members. Members can help by following these simple guidelines:

  • Protect Your Account Numbers, Plastic Cards Numbers, PINs (Personal Identification Numbers) Or Passwords. Never Keep Your PIN With Your Card, Which Can Provide Free Access To Your Accounts If Your Card Is Lost Or Stolen.
  • Use Caution When Disclosing Your Account Numbers, Social Security Numbers, Etc. To Other Persons. If Someone Calls You Explaining The Call Is On The Behalf Of The Credit Union And Asks For Your Account Number, You Should Be Aware. Official Credit Union Staff Would Have Access To Your Information And Will Not Need To Ask For It.
  • Keep Your Information With Us Current. If Your Address Or Phone Number Changes, Please Let Us Know. It Is Important That We Have Current Information On How To Reach You. If We Detect Potentially Fraudulent Or Unauthorized Activity Or Use Of An Account, We Will Attempt To Contact You Immediately.

Notices About Practices For Collecting Information From Children

Firefighters Credit union does not knowingly collect, maintain or use personal information from our website about children under age 13, and that the website is not designed to attract children. If a child whom we know to be under age 13 sends personal information to us online, we will only use that information to respond directly to that child, notify parents, or seek parental consent.
